I’m a Hopeless Romantic
I like old movies, and I’m a fan of chick flicks too. But what I absolutely love, are old romantic comedies.. Older movies didn’t have the special effects technology that movies do now, so they had to rely on a solid script and plot line, and you know, seems that the superstar actors were so much more super back in those days. I love Cary Grant and John Wayne and my favorite all time actress is Audrey Hepburn.
I don’t know if you are going out and painting the town red on Valentine’s Day or if you are planning a quiet night at home. If it’s the latter I have something for you. So, on this most romantic of nights, I thought I would share my nine all time favorite Romantic Comedy Oldies with you.
The nine movies that I selected here, are in no particular order because quite frankly I love ’em all! Also, the plot descriptions weren’t written by me. The authors are highlighted and you can visit a site that contains more of their works if you click on them.
The cool thing is you can rent these movies on Amazon.com. So, let’s get to it!
